Enchantment

I stood stock still
Under a shimmering silky sky
Now awash with a myriad stars
That hung
Like sleeping fireflies
In the deep deep depths
Of an infinite space
An Irish Gypsy Cob
It's silhouette
Danced Under the moonlight
It's eyes Could hypnotise
With it's sure, and steady gaze
Eyes ablaze
Beneath which
Long distant memories
Of fairy days
Where magic, was not a myth
And had remained
Within her beating heart
Tonight On this night of wonder
She came to me
I embraced
This beautiful entity
Then caressed her beautiful mane
Her eyes closed
Contentment
Lay still, and soft
Upon her calm countenance
She had the grace, and gentle air
Of a beautiful fairy queen
That for this rare moment
Had let me venture
Into this magical realm
I was now enchanted
