my heart keeps coming back like Lazarus
I dont if it's stupid
or just plain stubborn
in wanting love

Sometimes, I wonder about myself too.

Love is, exactly how often it's not written.
It's indescribable actually but worth the pursuit at any age .....

A peculiar human emotion isn’t it. Love. Sometimes I’m so frustrated by it I want to flip it off and other times it’s so euphoric I can’t imagine a moment without it. Oy! I've never had my heartbroken but in cultures where heartbreak is common i can imagine it must be very painful so your poem is encouraging and uplifting for such broken hearts. Kudos for a great , fab poem!!

You are a strong woman, faithmairee. There comes a point in life when we almost become resigned to the prospect of never falling in love, realising it ain't ever gonna happen. You know, that feeling: 'You had your chance & blew it!' Lol. Well, that's how I see my own circumstance regarding the issue. However, like you, I do believe romance isn't dead & I write of it, dream of it, even long for it! 😊
