Has death done us apart
when I kicked you from my heart
and treated you like demonic orbs
and prayed until you disapeared?
Has death done us apart
when I slipped and broke your heart
as I cradeled you like a baby
and rocked you until you fiercly hated me?
Has death done us apart
when I used you for my heart
and I took on this little show
to entertain you so you wont know?
Has death done us apart
when I found another heart
and crept around to keep you here
and hid me from those eyes I fear?
Has death done us apart
as I worshipped my own heart
and left you and your wants alone
and rid you from my thoughts and home?

after you diseased my heart
and left me to decay at home by myself
wishing you weren't with someone else?

when that question is asked
i feel that time has already passed
& we claim to be so smart
but we rarely listen to the simple truths of the heart
we are already in Love long before we say it
otherwise its just the game & i dont play it
but so many do & they define the proof
that we as a race are all in some way afraid of truth.....
