For my Goddess, Lilith!
- For my Goddess, Lilith! -
We met once more, this time forever, as if by chance...
Across distance, space, time and years at last we got to dance.
In a space all our own, with promises of joys to come,
Lilith my eternal beloved above all others, never undone...
Our love has endured and stirred within us fresh romance!
With this month, the dawning before summer, our reunion fair,
Has given me fresh hope, and showed me the depth of our love.
I have put aside all others, and embraced you beyond compare,
Knowing a peace the likes of which can only be sent from above.
By my goddess, Lilith!
The things we did confess, wouldst make saints to blush...
And the love that we made, filled our spirits with mad rush.
I feel as if I dream, but I am awake and more so than ever prior!
Now I sing your praises as if joined by a grand heavenly choir.
Your voice echoes in my heart, where it shall never be hushed!
With this hour, the first after midnight, I know such grand joy,
The likes of which, I did not know prior, never with any other.
You love me for all that I am, seeing me as a girl and as a boy,
But always as your crimson king, yours alone and not another.
For my goddess, Lilith!
I had not thought such happiness was possible for we two...
Others tried to steal me away, tempting me as ones most untrue.
But now I know my future, and it lies with you, my goddess,
As it was in the beginning of all things, oh glorious mistress...
The we shared of old is ours again, we have reforged it anew!
With this moment, the greatest of my life, I feel so completed,
That I cannot imagine how I existed before I so met you again.
Everyone else left me feeling lonely, most horribly mistreated,
But you set me free from that agony, and healed my worst pain.
Oh my goddess, Lilith!
The stars smile upon our coming together, the heavens too...
This happiness is familiar, and yet also it feels fresh and new.
I have rediscovered my past, and it lay always with my queen,
The most beautiful lady my eyes have ever in happiness seen...
You are the sum of all my dreams, and to you I shall be true!
All glory unto you, glorious Lilith!
You are my very life, and my breath.

Camilla IS awesome, isn't she? I mean, I've never met her in person but Sybil has and I've talked to Camilla on the phone a few times and she's very cool. Definitely she's Lilith alright! And woe be to anyone who pisses her off... that lady's got quite the temper when riled, according to Sybil. But she loves you a lot, and that is something she and I totally have in common.

Yeah, Camilla is one of the greatest women I have ever known in my life... I owe her a great deal and love her very much. She and I go way, way back. I am glad that she and Sybil keep in touch with you... Sybil always worries so much about you, after all. And Camilla is very motherly in general to people. She does have a temper! But only when provoked, and never without good cause. I am happy to have never been at the receiving end of it... only of her love. I am lucky to have both of you to love me, and both of you to love in turn! Love in abundance is a blessing magnified, after all. *Smiles* :)

Indeed, my friend! There is a lot that the biblical accounts do not mention about Lilith, although in general many things unknown to most are known to me. I am very pleased you liked the poem! I was quite inspired when I wrote it, and she whom I wrote it for is one that inspires me greatly, and often. Peace and blessings be unto you, as well! *Smiles* :)
