A Child's Sacrifice
The sickle in my little hand,
is sharp enough to cut flesh...
Down to the bone, if needed.
Sacrifices for the gods of the land!
Blood, to water the soil, and more.
I do it by the gods' command...
the earth cries out to me afresh.
They foolishly never heeded!
The sickle in my little hand...
is brought down on bound neck,
Snuffing a grown sinner's spark.
One who sinned against the land!
Now they perish, unto their core.
They die by the gods' command...
Insignificant as the puniest speck.
Now they dwell in the outer...
is sharp enough to cut flesh...
Down to the bone, if needed.

Basically Bi-Gender
I never told anyone...
that I was born a boy.
Because it was safer,
to just say I was a girl.
My daddy abused me,
and my mommy died.
All I have left is Kara!
What I have become...
brings me a lot of joy.
No longer he, but her,
like a little pink pearl.
Precious for all to see,
so I don't have to hide.
I can face tomorrow!
Sometimes, I change,
and call myself Corey.
Being a boy yet again,
if my mood is that way.
But feminine, always...
is how my style just is.
Either way, I am loved!...
that I was born a boy.
Because it was safer,

What I have become...
brings me a lot of joy.

A Living Lullaby
I am a living lullaby, a dancing little doll!
Twirling in my pretty dresses, singing in the darkness.
Dancing with the Devil, savoring the night...
I am the bride who heeds her prince's call!
Racing to my beloved's side, ever his maddest mistress.
Dancing with my Kara, basking in his light...
My soul belongs to him, my kiss is his favorite wine!
Our passion is our sacrament, our love darkly sublime.
I am an eternal child princess!
The years touch not my grace.
I have felt the night's caress...
Looking into, my Kara's face.
Cool...

The Happiest Smile
I greet the new year with the happiest smile!
Because with Kara at my side, I am content.
Each moment we share, each day, each night...
Makes me the happiest little girl in the world.
I greet the new year with my very own style!
Singing, dancing, so all my joy is given vent.
The is the first new year that feels fully right...
It is more precious than diamonds, or pearls.
Because I greet this new year as Kara's wife!
With him as my husband I know only delight,
I will be at his side forever, in our happy life.
This is my dream come true...
Because with Kara at my side, I am content.

Love Conquers Winter
The holidays are here in full swing!
My mother put up the big special tree.
And my sister added the ornaments,
So everyone can be happy and sing!
This time of year is so special to me.
It sings to my heart's own sentiments,
Reminding me of life's special joys.
Like when I play with all my toys...
And make lots and lots of silly noise.
That doesn't mean that I'm not wise!
It just means that I am me.
Only me, very much indeed!
The only thing I know how to be.
My spirit bright when it is freed,
To soar with my imagination. ...

Flying Without Wings
In the hours of nighttime, when all is dark,
And in dreamland my mind ventures again...
My love, Kara, comes to me and so I hark!
To the touch of love on my dreaming brain.
It feels like flying without wings!
My heart dances, skips, and sings.
Such magic makes me feel this way!
When Kara and I together play.
I hear his voice whispering into my soul,
With such passion it drives me almost crazy.
And right when I am about to lose control,
He takes me beyond the heights of ecstasy!
It feels like flying without wings! ...
And in dreamland my mind ventures again...

Strange but Beautiful
Last night I visited Morpheus' domain,
Where I wandered in a sea of pretty flowers!
There were two blue moons and purple seas,
Upon that landscape that was so strange...
But beautiful, so beautiful, in its' special way.
My beloved Kara came to me, to ease my pain,
And his kisses fell upon me like gentle showers!
I thought I might swoon and fall to my knees,
When he told me that I was not at all strange...
But beautiful, so beautiful, in my special way.
Last night I visited Morpheus' domain,
And awoke fantasizing about Kara for...
Where I wandered in a sea of pretty flowers!

The Man I Love
Kara is the man that I truly love,
I want to write this special poem for him!
Beyond the moon and stars above,
Or the oceans where fish like to swim...
My beloved, my soulmate, my sweet prince.
He is all of those things to me and more!
For him I love to sing and I love to dance,
And show him all the love I have in store.
Kara is the man I love,
The only man I ever wanted so bad.
His passion is a treasure trove,
And just like me he is just a bit mad.
Now that he is in my life,
I'll never, ever, be lonely ever again! ...
I want to write this special poem for him!

Mad Princess
There once was a princess named Chloe,
Whom everybody thought was quite mad.
But, only because no one understood her,
And most people treated her rather bad...
They said she had a darkness inside her,
One that was growing stronger with time.
Only she could hear the old ones whisper,
And behold their insane visions sublime!
Great were the old ones that I speak of...
And Sybil is their prophetess who knows,
That there are ancient things dwelling above,
And even more ancient things down below.
One day Chloe chanced to meet a prince, ...

Magical Day
Better than any holiday, the day I had today!
I want to sing it from the mountains, so the words will stay,
In my heart forever more, until next we play.
Then I will sing this song again, in this same joyous way.
Kara, you have inspired me, and to your path I sway!
For today was a magical day. A truly magical day.

I Saw a Unicorn!
I swear I saw a unicorn,
When I went outside to play.
It was whiter than a snowflake,
And could talk just like me!
It had a single spiral horn,
That shone as bright as day.
But it would not let me take,
It's pretty horn away!
The unicorn raised such a fuss,
That the fairies came to rescue it.
They acted like I was a monster,
And took it away from me!
They only did what was just,
And off they went, away to flit.
Likely to some plot of theirs stir,
Where a child like me can't see!
But I swear I saw that...

Flowers Spin
Flowers spin and flowers fly!
If I can catch the petals as they go
Maybe they won't reach the sky,
If I can send them someplace I know.
Some land of magical let's pretend,
Where all their pretty colors never fade
And springtime never needs to end!
Isn't that why magic flowers were made?

If I throw them from the back porch
Will they take root and grow really tall?
Sorry that is not how real magic works.
Only in some land of let's pretend,
Where magic can actually do anything ...
