we scoured our Love across
    several feet buried in self sabotage
  
you crave sweet release
   blinded by sorrow, slowly slipped by fate
  watched as dreams contoured beyond fashion
  embued creation where several crash in
 
   did we fall down a rabbit hole?

  placed our bets down different ends?

lied about our troubles another way
  bled out the pain to written ends
 
cavorted with anxieties
   danced with all its irony
  dined with depression
 talked of our cages

   what more worries can words defy
than that of our troubled hearts we drive
 towards greater ends that what we use
for what outshines is but an untold muse
  as driven forwards we choose
belay our actions through hidden cues

dropped languidly across a chair
