Waves
Let the moon light flitter,
Leaving a silvery spread.
Feel the soft sands glitter,
As through we tread.
Let my soul embrace you,
Slipping our senses to be free.
Let me eyes enclose you,
How my sorrow turns to glee…
Are these waves enticing me?
Or am I sinking?
Has the time expired,
Or have I stopped thinking?
In the hour past eternity,
When the ocean has fallen asleep.
This stoic world will evade,
Except the dewy kisses on your feet…
Leaving a silvery spread.
Feel the soft sands glitter,
As through we tread.
Let my soul embrace you,
Slipping our senses to be free.
Let me eyes enclose you,
How my sorrow turns to glee…
Are these waves enticing me?
Or am I sinking?
Has the time expired,
Or have I stopped thinking?
In the hour past eternity,
When the ocean has fallen asleep.
This stoic world will evade,
Except the dewy kisses on your feet…
