Outfoxed
As i drew back my curtains
I noticed
Across the road
On the roof of a neighbours garage
Was a fox
It was a quick brown one
Yet i espied no lazy dogs
It had a wander around the roof
And
As it was on it's little meander
I noticed the neighbour
Walking down from his garden
Then the fox saw him
And quickly clambered down
Into the driveway
Of the house next door
It then glanced around
And sniffed the air
Then sat down
In the middle of the lawn
In the middle of the day
No moon
No March Hares
No screeching
It just sat there
In the sunshine
Licking it's bum
