Giving your best intoxicated Cheshire cat smile
as everything about you in nature wilts
keeping track with an abacus of lost tomorrow
when the glow has faded from your dark soul
everything about you has holes and evil laughs
the archangel shakes his head at your hypocrisy
because you have become your own Mad Hatter
up to your ludicrous denial of gambling away your
life in a lotto picking your own insanity card
and sinful ecstasy paying the piper your requiem.
