Genocide
Bombs are dropping on innocent.
Bread taken from the hungry.
Men taken from wives into the black abyss we know as death.
War torn land never to be the same.
We destroy our mother without disregard.
Brother's murder upon each other is never ending.
Rape and theft are common knowledge.
What's happened to us?
Why are we so corrupt?
Race and religion are frowned upon.
Love is a dirty word too popular to the public.
Our leaders take from us what we don't have.
We can't survive.
The people that try to be the best are thrown to nothing.
Only the strong survive.
But only the strong are trickers.
Our end is inevitable and we do nothing to prevent it.
So here I sit and watch destruction knowing nothing I do will save us.

Maybe it is just me but I see a bit of humankind's injustice to fellow humans that so gives meaning to U2's lyrics. I can honestly say that when I was your age except for friends with special needs, I wasn't really looking at the world with the focus you have. (My guitar and sports were my world)

I think we as society are reluctant to positivity, we can't handle the truth(we are the all beings entitled to life) - classism is division. Until we acknowledge and understand that our existence depends on diversity in unity(interaction), we will never know the joy of being an individual. keep spreading the light, after all, it's the basis of life.
