like an aging
drug addict
i'm hooked on
unrequitted love
silly heart keeps
the emotional dream alive
never ending spiral
where senses go mad
yet smiles light up
when a certain name
is simply mentioned
pulse quickens at pace
rose tinted glasses
awash with colour
special blue eyes
captivates enraptures
old souls to dance
once again

oh sigh.... You write heartbreaking ache like no other.... Writing it out IS a version o letting it go, imo! Purging the pain, so to speak. I think I've progressed as a writer when I read your succinct and poignant greatness and I realize that I have a long way to go... haha... The master has returned... I have so missed you here, please stay awhile because my soul and definitely my writing (it's sucking more and more) and everyone else here on DUP, needs your unique poetic voice.... Yes, really.
