I’ve watched you live the words
you gave me as advice
even when facing your addiction.
You've always forgiven me when
I went down a dangerous path.
Please know that you're already forgiven
no matter what.
Please come home.

Author's Note
Mother's words are a comfort while waiting for her to return from her self-imposed separation from family and friends. I'm afraid her addictions have overpowered her completely. I hope she sees this and comes home soon.

I pray your mother hears what you say and gains the will and confidence to come back.
My own mother (aged 89) is presently staying in an old people's care home while recovering from breaking her hip in a fall at home before Christmas. She has told a social worker she would like to return to her sheltered home eventually. She has been given 8 weeks (taking to end of April) to be able to stand and to walk; in meantime she is doing physio and exercising (with encouraging results so far). Difference is, she has not cut herself off from me and my sisters and has the desire to come back.
