Vintage eye

Present witness
Bare unto this mysterious oath
Bide by the faded temptations
that bind your decree
Make right by the windowless soul
Hidden are the secrets
that keep the darkness intact
Make shallow the nuisance liar
who deems our belonging
to be unbound
Bias is the guardian’s wisdom
blinding you wholly windless
Mark my intentions as conspiracy
Pale my comparisons as entity
Live by the seller of infamy
Aligned by the razor of depravity
Cruel and hardened onus
Upon us, your filthy desires
Your thoughtless control
And us, left echoing
desperate for the mystic lyrics
that define
the lingering dither
displayed on the brow of the sage
Kept are my imaginings
within the kettle of my soul
Churning and spacious
Protective and impactful
Lay waste my vintage eye
Born to bruise longing and grit
Naked as a littered spirit
haunting the halls of envy
Slivered relics
Unfashionable mastery
A lilt of tattered fawning
