On this beautiful night
[Decided I am going to start doing
my running…
Exclusively on the track…
Going to go back to a mile baseline…
I started as a miler…
Went into longer distances…
The mile is a unique race…
I think it is rare to be a true miler…
I think I am a true miler…
In any event…
The ride to the track goes up an incline
Really fills the legs with lactic acid…
And…
The lungs and mind and perception…
It feels real good to have a pack of marijuana cigarettes…
To be able to run…
It feels real good…
But yes…
Just sort of…

So I dig both parts of this, but honestly they feel like two separate poems
One with the little bubbles of anticipation and maybe one hard hitting stream of consciousness from the track? It was fun, especially for me, but missed that cohesive transition to tie two good pieces into one

I really appreciate your insights...
Umm...
I put my authors note in parentheses...
Instead of in the AN box...
I do that sometimes...
It has occurred to me that
this clutters up the page...
But then...
I thought of it as like...
Maybe having a therapeutic value for myself and others...
Sometimes my author's notes
are so human all too human...
But like...
Just a moment ago...
I was thinking how...
Maybe my feelings are being liberated, somehow...
In strange ways...
I think of my time writing poetry again...
And a lot of stuff...
So its like...
Out of the chaos came results...
Everything I do and have done...
Was for the writing...
But the writing is alive...
And the living have a way of coming together...
Generating stars...
That's what I was thinking...
Precisions of expanding mysteries in the stars...
The stars as emotions...
Emotions as intelligence...
I have been studying my heart lately...
As crazy as that sounds...
Like staring into the sky...
Feeling a conduit to my heart...
I really appreciate your insights...
