The Phantom Zone
What is real and what is not,
And does it even matter?
I think it does...I think it does,
When we remember love
Is all too much unspoken of.
Now, I will speak of it every day
And search for it in every book
And in any other blameless way
Not too disposed to gobbledygook.
Oh...we will know it by its mirth
And by the laughter and the smiles
That prove to us how much you're worth
Through all the ubiquity of trials
So troublesome to the human race.
But persevere and you will see
Humanity as a Christmas tree
Trapped on a planet stuck in space,
And we the priceless decorations there
As cherished as we are distinct and rare!
And does it even matter?
I think it does...I think it does,
When we remember love
Is all too much unspoken of.
Now, I will speak of it every day
And search for it in every book
And in any other blameless way
Not too disposed to gobbledygook.
Oh...we will know it by its mirth
And by the laughter and the smiles
That prove to us how much you're worth
Through all the ubiquity of trials
So troublesome to the human race.
But persevere and you will see
Humanity as a Christmas tree
Trapped on a planet stuck in space,
And we the priceless decorations there
As cherished as we are distinct and rare!
