Reigning Blue

Sun shines upon my day
In blues and grays

Cold hues and temperatures
Embue my bones
I can't shake this feeling
As the sirens sound the tempest

Rain clouds to wash away
These peering rays

Foundation drenched and overflowing
Pouring upon the giving sod
Nectar stands at the lecturn
Showering it's sweet speech

Until there's no more to say
To end complain

Basking in the amber rain drops
Like honey dewed upon the grass blades
Their meaning between my toes
Makes me forget that I am soaked
