The Burden of Love
The Burden of Love
It's a terribly
heavy burden
to be loved
too much,
to be worshipped
for simply being
only who
you are.
The sun
and moon
sit
on the shoulders
of those
who are damned
to carry
them.
How hard
the life
of someone
accepted
and desired
for merely
waking up
each day,
this becomes
the chore
deluxe
of those
loved
too much
for the human frame
to bear,
and every
tinsel
moment's pass
becomes a burden
when being
only
in this perfection's
waiting game.
It's a terribly
heavy burden
to be loved
too much,
to be worshipped
for simply being
only who
you are.
The sun
and moon
sit
on the shoulders
of those
who are damned
to carry
them.
How hard

of someone

and desired
for merely
waking up
each day,
this becomes
the chore
deluxe
of those
loved
too much
for the human frame
to bear,
and every
tinsel
moment's pass
becomes a burden
when being
only
in this perfection's
waiting game.
