My Beloved is always with me
All day and all night
Watching as I play in the shadows
Woven of dreams of the night.

Always whispering in my sadness
Awaken from this darkened blight.
Awaken to brilliant sunshine
Symphonies of music delight.

I awoke one night to music
And a brilliant light within -
Where my Friend was there awaiting
Where He has always been.

He showered me with love and gladness,
