but I'm back
my old Miami  
my childhood planet
 
gated neighborhood
not much has changed
 
the persistence of memory
 
mature trees
competing mansions
multi-carat sunshine sparkles
decorating Biscayne Bay
 
I'm going somewhere
isn't that so much of our lives
getting to somewhere else
 
I think I'll drive the canal
instead of US 1
I hate busy streets
 
lazy right turn
