top of the morning to you
he says
waving and smiling
umbrella under an arm
off to somewhere
very important
melted snow on his cheeks
a parody of inner tears
a cave in his heart
to hibernate
he is
a dark silhouette against white
heavy coat sagging
puffing his smoke
thoughts in Atlantis.
