Jump Across The Sun

Jump across the sun,
Duck under the flare arcs for fun,
Shuffle across the side,
Then leap before your pants, legs cut wide,
Go up in flames,
Like a Molotov or the flare of a gun,
Turning potential energy to kinetic, for fun,
Music blasting like a bomb,
Beat and bass pumping hard without a qualm,
Like heavy machinery in the starry cosmos,
With the sun as one of many celestial dynamos.

Author's Note
Inspired by early 2000's jumpstyle, shuffle, and breakbeat music, and the clothing style too (especially wide-leg pants). (I put it in "Miscellaneous" because I felt it belongs both in "Upbeat" and "Fiction".)
