The Fool to the Conspiracist
The fire of fantasy in tune with life
can be a spark of creativity
but if the eyes of mind deluded see
the self may injure self in futile strife.
The norm and not the apogee is rife
although displaying continuity
but blind adherence to illusory
should bring in use some sharp dividing knife.
Our populists and maniacs the same
in all but wealth and influence and fame
and those who follow suffer their disease
with sense and hope eroding by degrees.
This madman wishes that before too long,
they, like him, realise that they’ve been wrong.
