In trivial silence
If anything happened to you
whole pyres would become
rivers in rainforests,
if anything happened to you
constellations would itch
in the sky
just to fall,
if anything happened to you
islands would become other islands
who knew less and less
about the island they came from,
who spoke to their brothers
who could add nothing more.
If anything happened to you
this vessel would be remanufactured,
if anything happened to you
it would be as if a fracture in time.

Like the imagery this creates, how the worst that could be and the best that is, is but fragile to the hand of change. We all should take the time to share such moments with those who enable us to see such appreciation for life the way it is, irrespective of the fear or burdens faced.
