Word regurgitation
He devoured her words,
opened up a blank new page;
spewed them up as his.

I spent a few weeks on here collecting and reporting examples of plagiarism. Good riddance, one and all.

Good that you were on the patrol. We need people like you to keep the rabble straight.

It was a choice between that and leaving really. I decided to try to help weed some of them out, and keep writing positivity.

I admire so much that you stood up for what you believed. Instead of abandoning this place, you had the courage to reshape it. That takes moxie.

Thank you and I agree, but I also respect those that couldn't be seen to condone the behaviour and decided to leave.
Re: Re. Word regurgitation
Can't say they were wrong really. I would find it intolerable for my work to be continuously copied. So far I haven't experienced that at least not to my knowledge. But if I did and it got out of control I would find it difficult if not impossible to stay.

Someone actually stole parts of my PROFILE. She is now gone...
It would be stupid to steal bits of mine from here... many have been published elsewhere, and most of the ones from August onwards are about to be.

Taking your work would be foolhardy. From the point of a writer, I wouldn't want my poetry to be copies of someone else. It would take away the joy of writing. I wouldn't see the point of posting others' work. The real joy of writing is to be appreciated for one's own poetry. Borrowing takes the wind out of one's sails.

Hey, I might have been confusing. When I said, "Can't say they were wrong really." I was speaking of those who left this site over plagiarism, not the plagiarizers who of course are at fault. Completely agree with you that plagiarism can degrade a site.
