it isn’t easy being an alcoholic
who has difficulty swallowing,
but I persevere; I go to pubs
at times when they’re mostly unfrequented, and find a dark corner where I can sip by myself

Don't know if you really fit the bill of an alcoholic. I recently saw a program on the subject. It is not just the habit of drinks. it is a total sickness.
