A Psithurism Of Thought
I shall dally awhile
And lose myself
Within the inner sanctums
Of my wandering, and wondering mind
And as i find
The dregs, and echoes
Oh! forsaken youth
I shall smile, beguiled
by ironies for a while
As i pondered
Over plausible possibilities
As i smile
Ever i be
So versatile
I would not hold still
Like a tree
In a strong wind
Instead
I would flutter
And flex
And ripple
Like a leaf
On the winds
Of other possibilities
My thoughts race
Like the wings
Of a dragonfly
I hover
And hesitate
Then deliberate
Then suddenly
Accelerate
Like a flashbulb
In Dark Space
