Opens up in an open air prison
Where possibly the inhabitants do not see it as such
But I wonder how many of its Leaders who have all the $$$ means
Occasionnally fly out to countries with more lenient views
Where they can enjoy wine, women (or men) and songs....

I heard there is no alcohol being served in stadium venues and other certain public places for the matches. I understand certain places have laws but limiting guests will probably have a negative effect down the line.

Budweiser has an exclusive deal with FIFA. But the day before the world cup Qatar said no beer so you may be sure Budweiser will sue FIFA, (We are told that Qatar allowed some alcool free be in a few big rich stadium boxes).

I just saw another report on the “slave” like labor conditions they used with migrant workers to build the stadiums, highways and basically a lot of infrastructure. The head of FIFA also said how they like to work with (and I’m paraphrasing here) counties with dictators because it easier to organize these games.

Corruption bought Qatar the games. I also saw a program on the games and they showed (with hidden cameras) where and in what despicable conditions the ''workers'' lived. Disgusting. Around 4,500 of these workers died and now FIFA has pledged some 450 million to compensate those families.
Corruption: The French soccer team was in financial troubles, so it was bought by a Qatari. Around the same time, France just happened to sell 25 fighter jets to Qatar. Rich Qatari have also purchased a number of French high quality stores, palaces etc....
