Your Face
Your face
Your face is sweet like lemonade, strawberries and sunshine.
It calms me like a shady back porch on a cool summer day.
I could drive through your smile like a lake road painted with a deciduous palette.
It’s an ocean breeze sweeping up a sweet aroma from so many waves and their curly sea foam.
Your hair falls all around it like an old wise willow tree
It’s a night sky swirling a spilt milkshake of bright stars around my head.
It’s Love,
Lust,
Longing,
Belonging.
Your face is the last chapter of my favorite book.
