Talking In His Sleep

I gave you my all just to get knocked down with a big fall. With you I took my vowels seriously and even through the pain I loved you continuously.

Who would have thought it would end with this, you talking in your sleep and my name being dismissed.

All those gut feelings I just let slide, deception thrown in my face and these feelings I can no longer hide.

 Calling out her name as you lay in our bed asleep, you sowed this seed and in the end you're surely going to wreep.

I thought our love was faithful and true, but it's obvious someone else sparks the flame in you.

 What's good for goose is definitely good for the gander, and there's no need to worry your name I won't slander.

You see they say one man's trash is another one's treasure, and best believe in that time I'll take precautionary measures.

 So as you lie sleeping and dreaming of another, I have to find healing and keep my pain under cover.

 No not from you cause this wrath you will feel, but from the public cause misery loves company and this story won't be a public spill.
