Waited
I waited for you today, you said you'd be around at 3 and not a word since.
Do you fear what we could be if given a chance? Or did you hear through the grapevine of gossip and filth that my worth is measured by those who could never measure up to myself?
Do my lips intimidate your weakness? Maybe you're simply unable to give what you seek and run when it's to much.
Something told me we were meant to meet, meant to be, but yet you coward in the comfortable spill of the ordinary hustle and bustle so we may never see.
A man is a man even when its unconventional, even when his ears are deaf and his eyes are ever wandering he knows the way home.
You left your soul here hanging on my heart and it is safe where you belong.
