Archaic Invasion
Think a thought, immersed in dread.
My mind is fogged, Cannot seem to clear my head.
Disoriented I wander into the haze,
Fickle melodies purvey.
Soul decaying, I am fading.
Slipping off the razor’s edge.
Descending deeper into the abyss.
Twisting and breaking convulsions overtaking.
Anguish and sorrows replacing bliss.
Immune to elation, elusive sedation.
Conclusive conclusion, Eternal damnation
Leave me alone. You’ve already left.
Nothing to be heard, nothing can be said.
I dance within the darkness awaiting sweet death.
Shadows sing out to me. Alluring me near.
Darkness consumes me. I proceed without fear.
A façade of relief so cleverly weaved.
Compelling my mind, rendering me weak.
Surrender my soul, and embrace my despair.
Insidious voices swirl through the air.
Hide within the shadows, Tiptoe through my dreams.
Rest my weary head, as I bleed.
Memories haunting, captivated in fright.
Nightmares transpire into reality, each and every night.
Whispers burning through the silence.
Arpeggiating with time. The delicacy of life.
The rhythm of adversity, the rhythm of my demise.
Blackness cascading, no long shall I have to wait.
Close my eyes and accept my fate.
