To My Daughter's Lover
The poem you wrote to my daughter touched her heart.
You seemed to have learned that the way to her heart is
through words and human touch.
I watched her reading your words over and over again.
Later alone in her bedroom, I heard her
reciting your words softly and occasionally
humming as she’s prone to do when something is pleasing.

I wanted my daughter's current lover to know how much his poem meant to her. She gave me permission to send. The photo here is distorted from one she sent him without edits. I'm sure he enjoyed seeing it.

Women love Billy Snagg too! Well, some do anyway (I think) Lol. No, it's a lovely write, particularly the reactionary descriptions to the mystery poem itself. A very unusual, unique but ultimately pleasing poem, Nizana.
