Champagne Residue
Serendipity tripping me up
washing up words from a foamy
line wet with time
dropping a pearl or two
tides of the sublime
when I least expect
an image of a chick
three in kind
changing her pace
switching through like strawberry lace
her words pop like bubbles
a sticky taste
sweet gum from a tree
sticking in my head like glue
silly twisting fingers
a popping corkscrew
champagne residue
