I'm so Hot
It was 111 the other day
(If you’re keeping score it’s almost 44)
My fat is crying without me even trying
I sweat by doing the simplest of chores
And then it jumped up to 114!
It barely cools down right before dawn
By mid-morning it’s already blistering
Who the hell left the oven on?
I can’t escape the heat even in A.C.
Or else the bills give rise to more complaints
And when walking just to get to the car…
This town is hotter than Satan’s taint
Don’t tell me climate change is a myth
One day it’s sweltering
The next there’s a storm
The rain comes and goes like a dream
Mother Earth looks upon us with scorn
