The moon
has been busy
gorging on
summer’s sunshine;
her glutted belly bursts,
softly spilling
strings of silver light;
pools of pale reflection
gather gently
across the worn wood floor

Dear L,
Very apropos for this evening as the half moon (or that’s what it looks like to me) is out against a completely black sky and the air is crisp, telling sign of autumn coming. I really enjoyed the mystique of this write. Bathed in moonlight with an entirely different look from that of the suns illumination. Really lovely.
