Damn I wrote this almost 2 months ago and forgot to post. I did get a day off out of this...the power stayed out my entire shift 😁Dateline, Texas, Lost power, 2 AM, 5.5 hours ago...It's no time to play "Here Comes The Sun."
Being from Florida and having power outages often during the summer, I can 💯 feel your pain. I must have three or four battery operated fans that I keep in storage and an on demand in my crazy supply of Amazon brand D batteries, during the summer time, just in case!! I hate the sweltering heat when the power goes out, so at least the fans keep the circulation going and have made it almost bearable to sleep at night, if needed!
Thank you so much, Faithmairee❣ i am glad you enjoyed this little ditty. The title reflects my imperfect understanding of this rollcoaster tide called life🤠
It's my pleasure to read your wonderful work. Being from Florida's Spacecoast, I too relate to your Senryu. What I wonder is why the power always out during the hottest summer days? That's the way it always seems around here. I live Florida but the summer sun can be si merciless! May I ask what part of Florida you live in?
Oh God! I absolutely have to have air conditioning. I suppose I am very hot blooded but if goes above 70 I know immediately. Had the air conditioning go out not to long ago and I was dying... fortunately it was fixed quickly. I would never be able to sleep with it out. Oh well, I can think of other things to do even though they will only generate more heat. ;) I felt this one deeply, it made me hot. lol
