File and flip and thumb through my pages,

Judge me by my cover,
Read me,
Re-read me,
Re-write me,
Re-do me,
Make me better,
Make me worth reading,
Make my novel something good.
Tear out my heart,
Take away my building action,
My climax,
My resolution,
Tear me apart,
Leave me in shambles,
Write in me,
Highlight me,
Crack my spine,
Split the covers,
Tear the pages,
Hate me,
Cry into my body,
Love me,
Breathe life into my pages,
Create your own imagery with my story.
Leave me behind once you're done with me,
Or just buy a newer copy.

Books can do sooooooooooo many things to you. Reading one at the moment in which the guy, after reading s book, just leaves it somewhere anywhere for someone else to pick up.....and read.
