subtle

 
subtle in my tones I undulate in the energy
sending out my feelers  
seeking a happy day
so much darkness causes anxiety
but the bad comes with the good
 
I want some happiness inside the torture
some semblance of peace
I rise through the clouds and push out
treacherous is the way
 
so much pain in the bloodletting
I feel it all upon my soul
I greet the pain as a warrior would
I bear the weight of it
 
clearing my field I touch serenity
covering my nakedness  
a balm to my being is honesty
if nothing else is well, truth is
the problem is, finding her lying among the myths
 
I center myself and see what lines up
going due north I continue on my way
