in a moment of sadness
the same crazily alone air you breathe
still feeding my blood
with your smoldering star
remembering
when wisdom and truth
stood hugging farewell
through their separate exit doors
hearts remapped
by the circuitry of love and unlove
sighing lonely
in the gallery with time's jaded applause
wary of dollar sign snares
worthless yet worthy of ruin
dreaming the last dance of all
