Heartfelt
My love,
Forgive me
When my words are stowed
In the tremulous touch
Of my fingertips
Skimming along
Your cheekbones;
When my eyes
Shiver wildly;
Trying, impossibly,
To take in all your wonder
In but a moment;
When my lips
Amble artfully along
Your lavender fields,
And my tongue
Trespasses
Amid delicate secrets.
My love,
You are composed of
Stardust and moonlight,
Of seasonal delight:
A soul so gloriously wild;
How winsome you wholly are,
Wide-eyed and forthright,
Polaris in my dark night.
My love,
J’taime que tu sois
Forgive me
When my words are stowed
In the tremulous touch
Of my fingertips
Skimming along
Your cheekbones;
When my eyes
Shiver wildly;
Trying, impossibly,
To take in all your wonder
In but a moment;
When my lips
Amble artfully along
Your lavender fields,
And my tongue
Trespasses
Amid delicate secrets.
My love,
You are composed of
Stardust and moonlight,
Of seasonal delight:
A soul so gloriously wild;
How winsome you wholly are,
Wide-eyed and forthright,
Polaris in my dark night.
My love,
J’taime que tu sois
