A little prayer

A little prayer

Every night when I go to bed, I say a little prayer, hoping that I'll dream tonight and I'll find you there

Find you in our special place, where we are all alone, sharing special moments that inspire poems written on my phone

Holding hands together, or a passionate night of sin, for me it matters not, as long as I get to feel your skin

Feel your body next to mine, just to share our bodies heat, together lovers moulded as one, would be the perfect treat

I wonder if when you're at home, do you feel the need, the ache, to me it feels so very real, my dreams are never fake

Are you out there dream girl, I guess only heaven knows, the other half to complete me, my very perfect Rose

So I send this out across the void, I hope it finds you there, as for me before I go to sleep, I'll say a little prayer
