Earth 2021
We need much more than just a day
For our sweet planet to repair,
And to make our troubles go away
In a manner efficient and fair.
Many traditions will not suffice
If we're to salvage living trees
Or save our ports from melting ice
Further mixed into a tropic breeze.
Best to use that wind right now,
In the turbine of your choice,
Selected best by highest brow
And not the vulgar caveman's voice
Still blowing on those lumps of coal
When conservatives are on parole.
