Burn Baby Burn
Somethings gotta give, somethings gotta give
They don't want me, they don't want me to live
In nothing but a lion's mane I trekked the deserts of this earth
I traveled across sheets of barren ice until I found it's true worth
I saw land across oceans where no one thought there was any
I took a bowl full of nothing and fed the many
I planted seeds of hope and a rainforest sprung up
Pissed on the peak of a mountain and eroded everything corrupt
I swam contaminated rivers and streams leaving water pure as glaciers
I patched holes in our home planet trying to help Mother Nature
I adopted hordes of endangered species, because I'm their savior
Snatching them from the clutches of those that are nothing but eco slayers
I climbed Mount Everest simply to fill in the ozone
Humans hell bent on destroying the one planet that they all call home
Factories stacks with a continuous smokey plume
Food destroyed because warehouses are running out of room
They would rather dump food by the tons into oceans than feed their own
There are abandon cities around the world, but still the homeless have no home
There are more disease being created than the inventors can create cures
And if the diseases are so freely given, then why wont they give you the cure
What is going on when you would rather see the ill suffer
When you would rather the homeless see life get tougher and rougher
When you can see the poisons being placed in your waterways
When you know the damage being done to your ozone and your factories smoke everyday
Do you continue to live behind the lies created to deceive
Or until every fish in the ocean can be counted or until the rainforest is down to one tree
You, human, you are a hard headed animal and you refuse to learn
Why take the long way, why not nuke everything and let's all sing, "Burn Baby Burn"
They don't want me, they don't want me to live
