Wild Black Rose2

(in perpetuity)

if I were panthera-kind
ide give you my eyes
searching the world
so in the emptiness
roses you may find

if I were a forest wolf
ide howl to you my words
igniting the fire
to warm you
through winter times

if I were a mountain goat
climbing cliffs to castles
ide raise my horns to verymeet
stormclouds
to bear your merryname

if I were a Boa
constricting all around you
ide whisper eternal verse
coiling them again and again and again

Maiden, Maiden
comb down your hair
so I can take a wild black rose
to hideaway in there

Maiden, Maiden
your eyes are fullmoons
pulling the tides of worlds in
magnet my heart toward you
