Dream girl's gone away

Wandering through my dreams, I wonder where you are, it seems I can't find you, it's like your not near or far

Only empty spaces are found in the land we played, there's a cold and empty space, in the bed once where my dream girl laid

Slipped through my fingers just like the sands of time, now my dreams are empty, where once the girl was mine

Tears lay on my pillow, my heart cracks and seems to break, I must learn to live with, new pain and its heartache

But i guess that's how life goes, it's full of twists and turns and man don't always get what they want, no matter how he yeans

All I can do is hope the best for her, I pray she gets all she needs and her path with a new dreamer, really does succeed

So tonight I will rest my head, knowing I will dream alone, left to lament and write poetry on my mobile phone
