Hermit of wild dark twilight
garbed with tonsured pale
peeling off the human condition
a ghost in moonlit vesture
according to scriptures
and deadmen quotes
brother can you spare a dime
for I have seen a thousand faces
of death on cartage row
as ravens gather at my grave
an unpolluted requiem
with a moon over my abbey
as the censer whispers
