Earth Day...or Oligarchs?

Who doesn't have blood on their hands by now?
So just how useful is it to suggest...
(When everywhere men retire from the plough
To rather have munitions manifest
For a bigger yield of bones than crops
In the old world breadbasket fields
Of glorious grains and hallowed hops)...
Who faulted who with the weapon wields
In lieu of sickles and hammers at work
Instead of a bankster's dirty money
Growing some totalitarian smirk
In place of sunflower seeds and honey?
Don't they know that the wealthiest soil
Is right on top...away from the oil?
