Give It Up.....

 
I have some secrets, you do too
Over our lifetime they accrue
Some are silly or make our cheeks red
but most of that, is in our own head

Held so long they sometimes ferment
they might weigh heavy while we lament
Unloading to a friend or a mate?
someone to help release that freight

Brings some piece and regain identity
gives perspective and a little serenity
Its not that big or quite intense
with someones help to make some sense

We do not want to give another distress
we must choose wisely to who we confess
This person who listens to us disclose
now knows we are vulnerable and could expose

So do not burden or over concern
a friend or mate with what they learn
For just like you they may want to share
Ask for wisdom, give it to Him in Prayer
