beautiful entry dearest Robert I have memories it seems of being a witch
in the days of burning them I swear I healed the towns people of the pox
and some one told on me and I was burned as witch and heretic...

There is also another lady poet on this site (her name escapes me at the moment) wrote a poem about a hag. Another sort of witch, but they made themselves look ugly to avoid the eyes and desires of men....so they could practice and learn and live in peace. Witches as such a fascinating world.

Great entry robert. Very few artists nowadays encompass the traditions of their culture into mainstream.

Thanks. That was for a competition...........and it made me discover something wonderful. PS I loooooooove to write about witches. They fascinate me for some reason. That they got harassed, burned at the stake or killed in other monstrous ways by idiots who feared their knowledge makes them more important and impressive in my view. Regards, Robert.
