someday
love will find me
imstead of
fluttering
over my head
isn't my heart
good enough
too
or am i
on a different
frequency
its unique
capacity
to feel
becomes a
scary place
without a safety net
a solitary beat
is so much louder
in the silence
but still
not heard
when it matters

Your worth and wealth of abundant goodness reflects so lovingly beautiful from each stroke of your pen, dear C. Just a little itty bitty reminder that there's always the propensity for unrequited love and to come and go (as painful as that feels in the moment) but long standing, deeply felt friendships are usually few and far inbetween and should be cultivated and cared for....
Don't ever forget how valuable, important and cherished you and your thoughtfully inspired writings are to many who may and may not voice it publicly....
